This page describes how voidforge.com.au and its associated application (“Home Assistant”) handle data.
What the App does
Home Assistant is a personal, non-commercial project that connects to Google Calendar solely to display calendar events on a private home automation system for personal use.
What data is accessed
Home Assistant requests read access to Google Calendar event data (event titles, times, and descriptions) belonging to the account that authorizes it.
How data is used
Calendar data is used only to display upcoming events on a home dashboard. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond showing your own calendar back to you.
Data storage and sharing
Calendar data is cached locally on a private home server for display purposes only. It is not sold, shared, or transmitted to any third party, and is not used to train any model or service.
Data retention
Cached calendar data is retained only as long as the integration remains connected. Revoking access stops all further data access immediately.
Your rights
You may revoke Home Assistant’s access to your Google Account at any time from your
Google Account permissions page.
